Arvéla Planning Companion
Launching summer 2026

Your guides. Your data.
Your device.

The Planning Companion is an interactive workbook and AI assistant that helps you apply the Arvéla guides to your own situation. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is stored on our servers. You are in control.

The Companion is in build. The free scenario modeller is live now. A taste of how the full tool will work. Join the waitlist below to be among the first to know when the Companion launches.

How it works

The Companion is built around a simple idea: you have already bought the guide. You should be able to ask it questions about your life, not just read it as a general reference.

1
Buy a guide and download it
Each Arvéla guide is a standalone PDF covering one area of estate planning. Buy the ones that matter to you.
2
Upload it into your Companion
Drop the PDF into the Companion. It reads the content and stores it on your device. The guide never leaves your browser. Our servers never see it.
3
Build your workbook
Record your assets, ownership arrangements, and the things that matter to you. Type them in, or talk to the AI assistant and let it capture the details from your conversation.
4
Ask questions
Ask the AI assistant anything about the guide content in the context of your situation. "Does the RNRB apply to me?" "What happens if we own the house as joint tenants?" It draws on your guide and your workbook to give you relevant, contextual answers. It does not give legal advice. It helps you understand.

Privacy is not a feature. It is the architecture.

Most AI tools send your data to the cloud and hope for the best. The Companion works differently. Your estate planning data is sensitive. We designed the system so that it never needs to leave your device.

What stays on your device
Your guide content. Extracted from the PDF you uploaded, stored in your browser.
Your workbook. Assets, ownership, values, checklists, reflections. All local.
Your names, addresses, account numbers, and provider details. Never transmitted.
What the AI assistant sees

When you ask a question, the Companion sends three things to generate a response: the relevant section of your guide (your published Arvéla content), a summary of your situation (asset types and approximate values, with no names or identifying details), and your question. That is all. No names. No addresses. No account numbers.

You see exactly what is shared before every session. You can skip the summary entirely and ask generic questions. You are always in control.

What is inside the Companion

Interactive workbook
Asset register, estate planning checklists, IHT indicator, and reflection prompts. Build your picture over time.
AI assistant
Ask questions about your guides in the context of your own situation. Contextual, grounded answers. Never advice.
Voice input
Talk to the assistant instead of typing. Describe your assets and family in natural conversation. It captures the details for you.
Scenario tool
Upload all four planning guides to unlock an interactive architecture comparison. See the real-world difference between estate structures, with your numbers.

Your library grows with you

The Companion works with whatever guides you have uploaded. Start with one. Add more as your situation develops. The more guides in your library, the more your assistant can help with.

A small status indicator shows how many guides are active. A library drawer lets you see what is loaded, upload new guides, or remove ones you no longer need. The interface stays clean however many guides you own.

When all four planning guides are loaded, the scenario modelling tool unlocks automatically. No codes, no activation keys. Your uploads are your access.

What the assistant does (and does not do)

The AI assistant helps you understand the guide content in the context of your own situation. It explains concepts, illustrates with examples, draws connections between topics, and flags where a professional conversation would add value.

It does not give legal advice. It does not tell you what to do. It does not make assertions about your specific legal position. When a question goes beyond what the guide covers, it says so clearly and offers a route to professional help, with the price and a booking link. No pressure. Just information.

Based on the guide content, a situation with a property held as joint tenants and an estate above the RNRB taper threshold would typically benefit from exploring the tenants in common structure described in Chapter 5.

Every response ends with a reminder: This is based on the Arvéla guide content and the information you have provided. It is not legal advice.
